Human Resource Manager

The largest Assisted Living Management Group in NY is seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager who is a strong communicator, pays attention to detail and has an in-depth understanding of Department of Health regulations concerning personnel records for healthcare agencies. The Human Resource Manager is responsible for cultivating and executing all HR-related duties on a professional level. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, policy implementation, and employment law compliance. This individual will, respond to employee questions and grievances, and ensure the company maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment specifically DOH, while enjoying being a part of an ever-expanding team of healthcare professionals committed to employee satisfaction.

REQUIRMENTS

  • Proven experience as an HR leader in the healthcare space
  • Experience Maintaining human resource information systems (HRIS) records and compiles reports from the database is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of with PFL, FMLA, & Disability processes
  • Experience with employee verification and background checks
  • Experience with new hire onboarding processes

 

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to define problems and tasks, collect data and establish facts, take action and resolve issues
  • Committed to and skilled in the principle of confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with HRIS Software
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
