Medication Technician

The W Group is seeking to hire a Medication Technician for the mid-shift from 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm. We offer excellent benefits, and supportive management. We have our eye out for a compassionate and energetic candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for those experienced and new to healthcare.

                                   Evening - OT options available - Immediately Available!

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience pouring medication is preferred not required
• Knowledge of assisted living policies and procedures is a plus
• Must be vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination
• Ability to follow directions and protocol after training
• Knowledge of Compuware is a plus but not required

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Distribute required medications properly
• Treat the residents with dignity and respect
• Enriching the lives of residents by supporting them with patience and a friendly smile
• Regular, ongoing communication with the pharmacy, families, residents,and management staff
• Keep properly documented records of all distributed medication
